This large canvas is full of colorful blooms.  I started this in the studio on a cold February day.  I remember that I didn't have a fresh floral arrangement to work off of, so I gathered my reference photographs and started drawing and making up my own composition.  I wanted a happy painting, one with variation in color and shapes.  This painting is drying, and will be ready for a new home very soon!  Thanks for looking at my art.  Kay

Just finished!  This panel has lots of paint and texture on it.  I used a filbert brush for most of this painting.  I love painting sunflowers because the petals flop and are irregular.  I thought this was a very pretty ceramic piece, and I liked it in the composition.  This painting is drying in the studio.  Contact ME for more info.  Thanks for looking at my art!  KMW
