I almost forgot this small still life...After traveling and recovering from surgery, I have been out of pocket for almost two months.  These sunflowers were painted in the studio earlier this year.  I used generous amounts of paint, so I knew it needed plenty of time to dry.  It's dry, varnished and ready to get framed up!  This painting is available for purchase.  Contact Kay for more info.  Thanks, KMW

This panel has lots of paint and texture on it.  I used a filbert brush for most of this painting.  I love painting sunflowers because the petals flop and are irregular.  I thought this was a very pretty ceramic piece, and I liked it in the composition.
