Sunday Afternoon

12" x 12" Oil on Canvas

Contemporary Palette Knife Painting

I was playing around with the palette knife, putting layer after layer on the canvas.  I may need to put a few details on the flowers, but need to let it dry.  The paints were applied with the palette knife, so it will take a while to dry.  Thanks for looking at this blog....Kay

Piggy Piggy - sold

Piggy Piggy

Contemporary Pig - Sold

18" x 18" Oil on Canvas

This painting is sold, but I want to paint more piggies in the near future, so I thought I would think about layout and composition now.  I saw some pigs and hogs at the Texas State Fair last week, and that was inspiration to get into the studio and paint.  John and I went to the Pig Races at the Fair...that was fun!  Thanks for looking at this blog....I will have some new roosters posted soon, as I have four unfinished ones on my easel.  Kay

This guy looks like he belongs in a magazine ad.

He is getting ready to go to a Pet Fair for auction.

The donation should help bring in money for a good cause.

More painting today in the studio.  Kay
