I grabbed three teacups that were hanging in my kitchen, stacked them up and painted them. This oil painting is on a 6" x 8" panel. Now that I look at it, I am not sure that it is finished....I might need to take it back to the studio and add some highlights. I would like to do a large still life with these teacups in it...along with some flowers, books, everyday objects...also, I have been rummaging through old photographs getting some inspiration for some new paintings. And along with finding old photographs, I would say that I am spring cleaning. The weather in Dallas is perfect....82 degrees, sunny, no wind...just perfect! Which reminds me, today is the first day of spring. Happy Spring!
