"Lace Curtains" was painted when I was going through a window and shutter phase. I think I had started with three flower pots and gradually added more and more...until I got thirteen flower pots sitting on t he ledge. My favorite part about this painting is the bricks and stucco on the outside of this building...used a knife, so the paint is thick a textured. I am getting ready to look at my pictures from our painting weekend in the hill country. Lots of cows, horses, dogs and beautiful landscapes to paint...
