Karin Jurick has a blog, Different Strokes From Different Folks. Every two weeks she posts a photograph, and artists are invited to paint or draw interpretations of that photograph. I think that there were about 75 artists who participated in this challenge. This past week it was a photograph of sushi...I loved painting that one. (not the case with this challenge!!!) A couple of fellow studio partners painted this also, and we agreed that it was a challenge as we grumbled and painted. My painting ended up with some angles, and abstract.
