Croquet, Anyone?

These are two 6" x 8" cotton panels that are in the studio...they look great framed up or sitting on a small easel.  Contact Kay at kay@kwyne.com for more information on these paintings.  Have a great day.....Kay

Cottage Rose Garden

Cottage Rose Garden
Oil on Panel
This oil painting is framed in a beautiful gold frame.
The paint is applied with a palette knife and brush....so there is variety in the texture.
One of my favorite things about this painting is the rooftop, which has layers of oils built up using the palette knife.  The roses in the foreground are also painted with thick paint.
I hope that this colorful landscape painting takes the viewer to a pleasant place....
maybe England...maybe a countryside cottage.

I will be back in the studio today....Kay

Untitled Landscape

Untitled Landscape
I have not named this painting. It is oil on 8" x 10" panel. Layers of color. I started this painting as I was finishing up another. I had so much paint on my palette from the finished painting so I start this small painting, and this was the end result. This is a very peaceful painting---pleasant and easy to view. It will probably be for sale in our open studio show in November. Looks really nice in a silver plein air frame. I need to name this piece...if you have any suggestions, I would love to hear from you. Thanks for viewing this blog!!!
