I finished this palette knife painting yesterday in the studio.  It had been in the works for a couple of months.  I had piles and piles of mixed oils on my palette.  Mixing paints is a really fun thing to do, and I usually mix a wide range of colors all at once.  Once my piles of oils are ready I can use my palette knifes, brushes and tools to apply the paint. This one has lots of texture!  Thanks for looking at my blog.  Kay

Layers and layers of paint are woven into this nest.  I really enjoyed painting on this canvas with the wide range of transparent oils, then the opaques.  The earthy colors are harmonious and compliment each other.  This painting is ready for a new home!  Contact Kay Wyne for purchasing info.  Thanks for looking at my blog!  KMW
