Lucky Dogs Street Scene is a small oil painting, 12" x 12" on gallery wrap canvas. I was inspired to paint the street vendors close to the French Quarters in New Orleans on a visit several years ago. This painting has been donated to Taste of the NFL for the silent auction to be held (in New Orleans) at the annual event the eve before the Super Bowl. Go to http://www.tasteofthenfl.com for more information on this fun event that raises millions of dollars for food banks.

Taste the Race
16" x 20" Oil on Canvas, Framed
Sold at Taste of the NFL Silent Auction in Ft. Worth, Texas
Thank you, Steve!!!
We are back from Ft. Worth and had a wonderful time with all the Super Bowl festivities...It was a fun time, met lots of neat people and helped raise money for Taste of the NFL...I know that the final talley is not in...We met chefs and football players from all over the country. The volunteers working the events were wonderful. Lizzie Brown was the event coordinator for the event on Saturday night....it was really a wonderful bash. I am sure that Taste will have some pictures of the event. We all were struggling through the ice and snow (which we are not use to in Texas) last week. The weather did not put a damper on the fun. Now we are having another blast of nasty cold weather....I don't think I can go to the studio today because of the snow and ice. I think I will be at home working on paperwork and computer postings ---- I have a large commission due next week and need to get in gear to finish those paintings up. Thanks to the new owner of this painting...I believe his name is Steve from Minnesota....I met him briefly. Thanks for participating and I am thrilled that this painting has a new home! Kay

Cheers to Twenty Years
Commission for Taste of the NFL
Mixed Media - 30" x 24" Gallery Wrap Canvas
“Cheers to Twenty Years” is a mixed media art piece exploring the purpose of The Taste of the NFL, the chefs, and events that have taken place in the past twenty years. It is a work of art celebrating the parties with purpose. The canvas tells the story of many memories past…ticket stubs, cookbook covers, wine labels, the thirty-two NFL teams, chefs, and the mission statement. The longhorn, bandana and map of North Texas add a Texas flavor to the canvas. A wine glass and confetti are reminders of parties past. Deep rich colors, lines, shapes and images allow the eye to move all over the canvas. I was truly inspired by the commitment and generosity of so many people who have been associated with this organization. My goal was to capture and celebrate the spirit of The Taste of the NFL on canvas.
I can't wait for Super Bowl time in Texas!!! Thanks to Heather Walther and Heritage Auction Galleries for photographing the canvas. Special thanks to Liz Brown and Taste of the NFL for giving me the opportunity to work on this project. I enjoyed every minute of it, and we are looking forward to the Taste of the NFL events coming to North Texas in February 2011! Thanks for viewing my art...Kay
