This painting is completed after starting it, taking a break from it, and revisiting the canvas. The smooth linen surface didn't have very much texture or tooth, months ago, and putting it aside when I got frustrated with the painting surface. Even though this is on a small canvas, I wanted to keep the brush strokes loose, colorful and energetic. "Vying For Position" is framed and ready to hang! Contact ME for purchasing info.
