Contemporary Floral Painting

When I got to the studio yesterday, I set up a still life....John's cousins had sent us a beautiful arrangement, so I took them to the studio.   I hadn't painted flowers just for the sake of painting flowers in a long time.  Here is a pic of the set-up and the first phase of the painting.

I enjoyed the exercise so much that I think I will go back to the studio and do all again today....Thanks for looking at this blog and the art posted here.  Kay@kwyne.com   KMW
