This painting was commissioned by a Mimi-----she contacted me this summer and wanted a painting with a couple of turkeys. Mimi had seen some of my rooster and chicken paintings and wanted a painting for her home in New Hampshire. It was fun working with her and creating this piece for her home, and a gift to her husband. Sometimes you need a little "push" to paint something different...and this painting did that.
