Carmel BeachThis painting is sitting on my easel....a 9" x 12" oil on canvas. I started it last weekend, and had some deadlines to meet this week, so I had to leave it alone. I used the palette knife, applying the paint very thick on the canvas. The colors in Carmel are so crystal clear. John and I were in Carmel a couple of years ago with good friends, and my reference photo was taken close to Mission Ranch in Carmel. I have many good memories from that trip, and I am wanting to return. Thanks for viewing my blog!
