Here's a blast from the past.  I painted this one several years back...Thick, painterly brushstrokes, good colors mixed.  But my style has changed.  It's looser and somewhat abstract now.  Glad to have this painting in my home, as I had given it to my parents in 2001 for Christmas.  Thanks, Kay

This painting was one that I worked on when I was in my "floral phase." I like the rich, deep colors in the plants and the texture in the tile. The sunlight hits the terra cotta pots, and you can see the cool shadows. Sunlight...we haven't seen much of that lately in Dallas. It is another cloudy and probably rainy day. Have an artful day...I hope to post my new buffalo painting this weekend. It is wet and needs a couple of brushstrokes, and it will be ready to sign!
