Painting familiar places in Dallas is fun for me, and this location is very close to our home. This bridge is located at White Rock Lake. I drove over to the lake one morning and liked the layers of grass that surrounded the bridge that carries many bikers, walkers and runners. After photographing the bridge, I went straight to the studio, wanting to capture the beauty of the lake. The layers paint were applied with a palette knife, giving the canvas texture.
