This abstract painting is on a 10" x 17" cotton panel. It was a challenge for me because I love using large brushes and big palette knives when I paint. Palette Knife Painting

Image looking up in the sky with the wind whipping around, trees blowing and a storm coming in. That is what I imagined when I painted this contemporary abstract. I blended the colors in the background, using wide brushes. The leaves and trees were laid in with thick layers so that there is texture on the linen.
