Get Ready

I started this painting in a workshop, finished it in the studio. Lots of attention was paid to the light and shadows in this scene. I used a limited palette of six colors and white. "Get Ready" has a calmness to it, and the water has reflections that pull the eye into the painting. This panel is drying in the studio, waiting to get framed up. Thanks for looking at my blog.
