Contemporary Palette Knife Painting
Layers of oils make this original oil painting fun, interesting and whimsical. I started with an abstract underpainting, then worked with a palette knife on the dragonfly. I imagined painting the colorful stained glass in our church sanctuary when I was working on the shapes and lines in the wings. This painting is available for purchase.
