Contemporary Abstract Painting
This abstract was painted on linen. The rough and natural color of the fabric shows through where I did not cover with paint, but purposefully let the linen peek through. I used a palette knife to apply the paint, not wanting to blend or mix my colors too much...to avoid making mud. The aspens criss-cross across the surface of the linen.
