Contemporary Bovine Series
I got in a cow mood in the studio this week, and thought it would be fun to paint a Hereford. I have painted bovine beauties in the past, and it was good to paint this guy for a change. He's colorful and as he looks straight on to you, he is full of personality. My brush strokes are loose. The oils are thick and layered. This painting is drying in the studio, and will be framed up.
