Contemporary Palette Knife Painting

I had originally worked on a floral still life---vertical format.  When that didn't work for me, I scraped the panel and turned the canvas horizontally.  Of course I had huge piles of paint on my palette after finishing "Cactus Patch", so I got out my favorite palette knife and went to work.  Thick layers of paint overlap each other.  This painting is drying in the studio.  I did throw in some impasto to expedite the drying process.  Thanks for looking at my blog..Kay
