Contemporary Palette Knife Painting
"Vista" is a contemporary landscape painting that was created with piles and piles of juicy oils, all mixed up and harmonious. I applied the thick oils with a palette knife, and moved the paint on the canvas panel to create an abstract landscape. By using the palette knife, I was able to give the surface texture and interest. "Vista" was a fun and challenging painting because of the unique size of the canvas.
