Contemporary Seascape Painting
I used a couple of my plein air paintings as guides for the color on this small painting. Thick piles of paint were mixed, then I used a Monarch Bright #10 to apply the juicy oils. The water is a greenish-turquoise, with the sky more cobalt and royal blues. This painting is drying at Dutch Art Gallery in Dallas, Texas and waiting to be framed up.
