Contemporary Landscape
Pushing myself to work with a different color palette, I wanted this landscape to have muted colors. Not my usual colorful palette. I mixed the greys, greens and browns into large piles. The used my palette knife to apply the paint and move it around on the canvas. The colors of the field transition softly into the wide open sky. I see a storm coming along the horizon.
