This is one of my all-time favorite paintings that I have created....of Shea, the family dog....our yellow Lab. I like the wide and loose brushstrokes, the color palette, and of course the subject matter. She is larger than life, and in your face with her tennis ball. I wanted to capture her personality and energy on the canvas. Shea Baby isn't with us anymore, but when I look at this canvas it reminds me what a great family pet she was.
