Painting small is a challenge for me...it is easier for me to paint with a wide brush or a large filbert on large canvas than to have a small brush and canvas in front of me. I am looking at this small still life in my kitchen, as it is framed up in a gold plein-aire style frame. I think I want to start a new series of still life paintings....so I need to go treasure hunting for my set-ups.
