This is a painting from a photograph from Dreama Tolle Perry's workshop. I believe that Dreama took it on one of her trips to France. I do like painting old architecture that has lots of character and imperfections. I thought this front door was very welcoming.....thus, the title, "Welcome". I used my artistic license and stacked in the potted plants and the vines up the outside wall. It was fun to use Dreama's color palette and some of the tools she uses when painting.
