The Race Is On!Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas

I just completed this painting...and had to dash home from the studio to watch The Preakness Stakes. I usually don't paint race horses from this perspective. But as always, I am putting the paint on the canvas to express the movement, excitement and colorful feel of the race. I was able to get a good start on a palette knife painting today...windows, window boxes, and flower pots. I was covered in paint...that painting needs to set-up before I start putting shadows and details in. Thanks so much for viewing my blog.
