This painting is the first in a series of landscapes. I am starting the Leslie Saeta 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge and it begins on September 1st! I decided to paint landscapes so that I would have a theme and I have some wonderful places to go and paint in Dallas. I used lots of juicy oils in this painting, and wanted it to be loose and colorful.
