Horizon Series: Abstract 20

This painting is SOLD!
Layers and layers of color cover this canvas. It is a 18" x 18" gallery wrap canvas. The painting began as an urban landscape setting...and evolved into this contemporary oil abstract. This abstract paintng has all the elements of form, color and line to create this composition. Abstract art, or nonobjective art, is art that is not an accurate representation of a form or object. The subject matter can be simplified or exaggerated....but the representation is abstract, not realistic or representational. Now that you have had a little lesson on the subject of abstract art I hope that you enjoy viewing this painting and any of my other works. Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in purchasing an original work of art.
