Contemporary Still Life
I have been painting small panels swiftly---30 to 45 minutes, alla prima and walking away from it. Here's one that is very wet. I wanted to capture the light hitting the pot, and the irregular sunflower petals and leaves. It was fun and great to be able to start and finish a painting in a short amount of time.
