Contemporary Landscape
I had mixed piles and piles of beautiful colors for a previous canvas, and when I completed the painting I decided that I needed to use the paint up. I grabbed a toned canvas and started putting in the sky and the field. It all fell into place. All the colors are harmonious because they are mixed---nothing straight out of the tube. I did use some impasto, so texture is a big part of this painting. I have a great frame for it, and it will bee handsome framed up! Contact Kay with any questions or comments.
