On my easel...Just a start of a basket of hot peppers. My inspiration was a photograph that I had taken about five years ago at a farmer's market. My biggest issue with this painting is the green. Too much green. I hope to work on it today. To change things up, I went to the Chihuly exhibit at the Dallas Arboretum. There are 27 displays, and this one is my favorite. These boats and glass balls are floating in the infinity pool, overlooking White Rock Lake.
The exhibit opens on May 5th, and the gardens are outstanding with the colorful, contemporary displays of Chihuly. I can't wait to go back in the evening to see the glass under light. Tomorrow Good Morning America will be at the Arboretum and Dale Chihuly will be there. Thanks for viewing...Kay
