Cardinal Nest

Another Nest Series Painting....Very wet, should be ready to frame soon. I finished the Cardinal Nest yesterday. The little tiny eggs are down deep in the nest that was in a bush in our backyard. We are watching the mama and papa Cardinal, and we think that they might be making another nest in another bush. These eggs are not whole...they were broken open and empty when we found them...I had to turn them over and position them so the broken side did not show. Kay, I love all the little pieces of the nest and the squiggles! the eggs are lovely too. they are just dusted with brown freckles! Super job!
